My name is Paul Burd. I'm a multimedia designer living in San Francisco, California. I have over 13 years of experience in multimedia design and production, including: video, graphic design, 2D animation/compositing, interactive CD-ROM/DVD programming, print, and web development.
In addition to my interest in multimedia design, I'm also an avid photographer, environmentalist, and Mac geek. You can see more examples of my Photography on my Photoblog, HighlySubjective.com.
I'm a firm believer in living a sustainable lifestyle. This philosophy runs not only through my personal life, but my professional life as well. I run a carbon-neutral office. This means I've made every effort to reduce consumption of materials and energy where possible, and offset the remaining carbon for my home, office, and travel with RECs (Renewable Energy Credits). Currently, I use TerraPass, but I also recommend Native Energy. In addition, I also prefer to use products that are made from recycled material, and in turn can be recycled. I am a firm believer that we all need to do our part in preventing global climate change.
Will this impact a project that we work on together? Probaly not. More than likely the only thing you'll notice is I won't send much to you in the mail. I prefer to send all estimates, proposals, invoices, etc... in electronic format. And, I prefer to transfer assets back and forth electronically as well, when possible.
I offer a wide variety of design and creative services. Here are just a few...
- Animation for CD, DVD, & the web
